Style Guide For: Wedding Guests

Have you been invited to a wedding recently and have no clue what your going to wear? Then your in the right place. I'm going to style a couple of looks to give you ideas on what you should wear to this formal event.

1) This first look is an off the shoulder high low dress in the color burgundy. I think it would look cute with a half up half down hairstyle, so I found one with a fancy twist in the back. For shoes I picked out some single strap heels in black I thought would complete the look.

2) This second look is a lacy halter top dress in the color navy blue. I think this dress would look great with an updo hairstyle so you can show off the neckline of the dress. The shoes I picked out are a pair of strapy heels in tan. I just realized they are the same style of shoes for both looks, but I think they are perfect for each one.

Winter Essentials

Warm, cozy and fashionable pieces you need in your closet this winter.

When a new season is about to start I love to clean out my closet and update my wardrobe. I look for cute new pieces that I can rock all season long.

Are these essential for winter?

These are my winter essential suggestions, but there are a lot more that I didn't include. The first winter essential I think everyone should have is a comfy sweater. They are easy to dress up and dress down for any occasion. The next item I think everyone should have for winter is a nice winter coat for when you want to go out on a date or you just want to look cute. Winter boots are essential for winter especially if you live in a cold climate like me. Another shoe I think everyone needs for winter are riding boots. Riding boots look cute with all winter outfits. Infinity scarves are next on the list because they are perfect for style and warmth. Adding a scarf to your look will warm you up and make you look like you put more effort into your outfit. Knitted headbands or ear warmers are great for when you don't want to wear a hat outside. They keep your ears warm, but keep your hair from getting to messy. Winter hats are essential though when you are going out in the snow or having a bad hair day. I think having a fleece jacket is important for winter because they are light weight and are perfect when you don't want to wear a bulky winter coat. The last winter essential on my list is boot cuffs and boot socks. They are great to add under riding boots because they look cute and they keep your legs warm during the winter months. All these items aren't essential for everyone, but I think this list can help you out if you want to update your winter wardrobe this year.

A Winter Look On A Budget

We've all went shopping and found something we love only to walk away after seeing the price tag, so I searched the internet with a budget to find a cute casual outfit for winter without breaking the bank.

When I think of winter fashion I the first thing that comes to my mind is a comfy sweater, but sometimes they can be overpriced. Because of this I decided to put together a casual winter outfit under $50.

Why I chose this outfit:

While I was shopping I was looking for low prices as well as good quality because we all love low prices, but we don't want to purchase something that will fall apart the first time it's thrown in the wash. I chose this v neck oversized sweater in light grey because I loved how comfy and warm it looked and the color is neutral so you can wear any color with it. The ripped jeans were next on my list because they are very trendy and are wearable in every season. I think the ripped jeans add a "messy" look to the outfit without making it look trashy. For an accessory I decided to go simple and add a scarf. The scarf I picked out is a waffle knit glitter infinity scarf in the color rose. I thought this scarf is perfect for this look because it not only adds warmth on a cold winter day, but it also adds a little sparkle. The last thing I was looking for was ankle booties to tie the whole outfit together. The ankle booties I found are super cute and simple so you can easily style them with almost any outfit. Overall this look came to a total of $42.77. I think this is a great price for all four of the items considering how overpriced everything is these days. The best part is you are adding four new items to your closet which can be used to create multiple new outfits.
